Nepotism is indeed bad, but I don't think Severide throwing her out of the academy was valid. She hasn't been shown to be incompetent yet. And if anything, it's Severide's fault in the first place, for giving her preferential treatment by letting her ride in the engine with Squad. To be fair, the guy she wanted booted did screw up. (I mean, come on, he had a panic attack from simply climbing a ladder. Maybe he should rethink his choices.) She doesn't deserve to be kicked out... yet.
Seriously? That bitch SHOULD be thrown out and she's being kept because of her father. If that is in any way supposed to be realistic it's no wonder the US has a senile "president" and is going to hell.
