Stupid episode. The father should be punished a bit, but that was 95% the mother's fault. She didn't even try to verify that the daughter had indeed been kidnapped, and there was absolutely no reason for her to drive so recklessly. Not to mention that she was a bitch for divorcing the husband and demanding such a high alimony in the first place.
The other comment on this page is kind of funny to read years later, seeing as this show very much did not hold its own.
I'm a bit surprised that thia show is holdimg its own. It works well with the rest of the "Chicago" family of shows. Just waiting for shows like "Chicago Transit" and "Chicago Slice" to fill in the gaps.
