Chicago P.D.: Season 5

5x22 Homecoming

wow i cant believe Al is truly gone, he was the backbone of the show...last season Erin now Al, hope it will stop now.. Also why didn't Hank come up with this simple scheme way before things got this out of hand? Kinda a lazy way to wrap up this whole storyline. Also why didn't we get a funeral scene for Al? Maybe next season but than it will take away the heartbrokeness we have now.

Solid season and a good finale to wrap things up. Now we just have to hope they don't replace Al with a worse actor as they did with Erin (I still can't stand Hailey...)

Olinsky as a character barely did anything this season, or even the past few seasons. Been awhile since he was a focus of any plot (even this plot was focused on Voight; Olinsky was just collateral damage). Not terribly surprised they wrote him off.

What was with that shot in the hospital elevator where it focused on random extras' faces before landing on Voight? It was weird. I thought they were going to become plot critical or something, lol.

The only reason this fairly crappy episode in this really crappy season is slightly less crappy than the other is that the despicable asshole Woods finally got taken down.

I hope that he stays out of the series now and that the/those useless Hollywood hacks that wrote this crud and ruined the series are replaced for the next season.

socks they killed off al.seems like a move to the fresher faced over the grizzled old guard.
some plot elements were a little convenient but that aside a solid episode. great end of season.

I never liked Al all that much, so I won't really miss him.
