I'm surprised by how much I liked it.
Edit: With the second half of season 1 coming out. In this part, feminism comes out more into your face which is not inherently bad, but a little bit invasive. Despite that, the second half sets the bar even higher than the first part. Really looking forward to seasons to come.
Edit2: Season 3 slightly drops in quality as they are trying to shove in a few too many songs. But it looks interesting as to how they are incorporating other faiths into the series.
Why does trakt have this show as only 2 seasons when there’s actually 3..
Campy and fun, although meandering at times.
I guess one's opinion on the show relies heavily on what you expect it should be. I liked the second half-season much better than the first one, but I went in expecting nothing but a dark twist on the original show, so the silliness is par for the course. On the other hand, if you went in expecting deeply complex character development and intrincate storylines, I guess I understand your disappointment. I think you'd probably enjoy 'The Magicians' in that regard.

This series is without a doubt the most well developed, best cast, amazing reimagination of a series I've ever seen. I honestly wasn't sure what I would think of it but it is absolutely amazing!! The cast work so well together I find myself really able to feel the passion of their acting. Note that this series is not the Sabrina you may be thinking of from the 90s or even the full 60s versions either. This is a whole different ballgame. Amazing job Netflix I cannot wait for more!!! Everyone I know is in love with this show!! Me too know!
