The whole Roz and Harvey thing it's so BORING!
I could have done without the singing part but this is from the creators of Riverdale.
NOT TODAY, S A T A N
I love that Nick is still calling Harvey by "Harry". Hilarious!
Oh, thank Lucifer (as they would say lol). I need my poor, sweet, darling Nicholas back. Honestly, for a bad boy he's the most caring, supportive, loving bf in the history of TV. He's too good to be bad. I don't care what anyone else says.
I honestly was expecting the Dark Lord to kill Blackwell and am kinda disappointed he still continues to draw breath. Something to look forward to, I guess. Prudence needs to make up her mind and join a side. All the flip flopping is growing tiresome.
The writing was really subpar this season. The characters were extremely OOC and the plot was laughable and ridiculous at times. I really hope they'll get better, more committed writers for next season. People who will make sure the characters stay true to themselves.
Kiernan Shipka deserves ALLLL the emmys.
should have ended with Lilith ascending as the queen of Hell or with Zelda claiming they were the church of Lilith now or with Prudence and Ambrose swearing to kill Blackwood, ending with Sabrina saying "let's save my boyfriend" was sort of a boner-killer. Great show anyway, nothing too earth-shattering or smart (it has its fair share of dumb decisions and plotholes), but delicious entertainment.and looking foward to the next season
I would have sold my soul to the devil if he looked like THAT. Holy Hell.
That said; it took me a while to get in to the vibe of this show but once I did I couldn't stop watching. It's almost like Nick says 'I fell hard'.
I liked Part 2 much better than Part 1. I love how the characters came together. I hope we can get more of Dorian Gray, Dorcas, Agatha and even more Prudence. These smaller characters have a lot of potential and I like seeing them more than Roz and Theo (even though they did up the cool on the mortal characters in part 2 as well. Roz and Harvey are a good match).
Downside; they spend so much time creating an atmosphere of fear around Satan and when he finally appears in his angelic form he is outsmarted by singing teenagers wearing masks (cringe, that was such a Riverdale moment). He was cast really well, actually reminded me of a young version of Eobard Thawne (Matt Letsher), for those of you who watch The Flash. The story was just written poorly there.
What I do love is Madam Satan, Lilith. Oh my! Michelle Gomez is so well cast and she is why I got pulled in to this show to begin with. It's a delight to watch the story of Lilith unfold. I went through all the emotions with her. I distrusted her, disliked her, felt sorry for her, loved her, rooted for her. Everything. I hope Part 3 will give us much much MUCH more Michelle Gomez.
I liked Ms. Wardwell's (Lilith) red and black dress. But I didn't like them using and butchering the "masquerade" song from "The Phantom Of The Opera".
It's also weird that young kids are trying to stop an apocalypse and carrying guns and explosives.
Really? Sabrina is Satan's daughter? Um ok.
Although parts of this series can be a bit cringy, (the singing scene, really?) it is very entertaining to watch. And damn, the dark lord looked hella good. Did think it was a bit easy to defeat him though.
This season was kind of a let down. This show has a bad tendency to set up high stakes and then undo them, like with Nicholas. It ruins the character moment knowing Sabrina's going to get him back, and probably pretty soon. Him going to hell with Satan trapped in him and Sabrina having to say goodbye is a profound character moment and it'll be resolved this time next season. 2/5.
I guess one's opinion on the show relies heavily on what you expect it should be. I liked this second half-season much better than the first one, but I went in expecting nothing but a dark twist on the original show, so the silliness is par for the course. On the other hand, if you went in expecting deeply complex character development and intrincate storylines, I guess I understand your disappointment. I think you'd probably enjoy 'The Magicians' in that regard.
Oh man, part 2 was so much better than part 1, that it almost felt like a different show. Nice wrap-up to a rather unstable first season. After a sketchy start, the show finally properly embraced its darker core and the real fun began. Sure, the show is full of cringe-y moments like Theo (whose character is also quite cringe-y on its own) almost doing the proverbial victory dance so close to the partially opened gates of Hell, because what could possibly go wrong with that, right?, but it's all still just good fun in the end.
I'm not sure I liked losing the evil-charged Ms. Wardwell and now we're apparently stuck with the average "teacher of the year" one (she was one of my favourite characters) and I truly disliked that Father Blackwood lost his status and is on the run. Maybe both those things will provide an entertaining second season, but somehow I doubt it.
I guess I'm in the minority on this one, but that Dark Lord absolutely sucked. The man looked like a discount version of the one from Lucifer (the now Netflix show), but without a shred of Tom Ellis' charisma. No wonder he got beaten so easily, it all just goes well with his poorly written and interpreted character. I liked him way better when he had horns, a snout and an ominous presence.
So, now we have a flock without a shepherd and a broken relationship that requires some Indiana Jones/Evil Dead style rescue. Seems like season 2 has some good material to develop on, and here's hoping it will give us more witchy dark fun and less human whiny drama.
I‘m happy with how season 2 turned out. Although the beginning was too slow, the last few episodes and the finale were great. I can‘t wait for season 3.
Soo.... Antichrist?! That escalated quickly

This series is absolute nonsense from the beginning and it’s terrible written but I still watched the whole thing. I wonder how the devil himself can be fooled by teenagers SINGING ... worst scene ever haha terrible, really, but probably will keep watching the next seasons.
