Christmas in Blåfjell is a Norwegian advent calendar produced by the NRK Children's and Youth Department and sent to NRK in 1999. The idea and manuscript was by Gudny Ingebjørg Hagen, the music was by Geir Bøhren and Bent Åserud, the director of the television was at Torunn Calmeyer Ringen, the costumes of Gerd Johnsrud and the scenography at Aili Strømsted.
The series was voted the best TV drama during the Gullruten 2000, and in addition, the Spellemannprisen 1999 won the class children's records for an album of music from the series. The series was filmed on Røros and 'Veien til Blåfjell' went up the protected Sleggveien. Each episode lasted for 25 minutes.
