It’s a ludicrous and easy way to dismiss a program and totally misses the point of it.
Mr K is the butt of the majority of the jokes (along with Riaz and Amjad) because he’s a daft, proud, snooty, greedy bonehead.
He’s almost a toned-down Alf Garnett at times in this episode - with his outdated attitude to women. But he’s the fool. He’s the one we’re laughing at, not Islam.
A prat is a prat in any culture. At least Mr Khan means well and his family tolerate him. Unlike Alf.
