Are you giving a negative review simply because you didn't understand the first episode? Should a television series be expected to tell its story in a straightforward manner from beginning to end? Or should we not pay attention to other aspects, such as cinematography, set design, and acting?

I would suggest that individuals with such preferences might enjoy watching "SpongeBob SquarePants" instead.

WTF just happened? I really want this to be good, but I have no idea what happened in episode 1, and I had to rewind over-and-over as I kept getting distracted... It has potential, so I gave it a 6, but I am being generous.

This was an amazing premiere episode. Thrilling and suspenseful with great visuals, the show looks really promising already.

I’m sorry, but this was not a good opening. I don’t care for any of these characters and nobody really explained anything that’s going on prior to the accident. How the hell did nobody bring up the random dead body that she found stuck in the ship? Feel like that would bring up hundreds of questions. No one talked about it or anything, they all just brushed it off. This was a tough one to follow for sure.

Awful acting across the board with the exception of Jonathan Banks (legendary Mike from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul), Barbara Sukowa (legendary Doctor Katharina Jones from 12 Monkeys) and even James D´Arcy (Jarvis from Agent Carter, best part of that show). Those three (at least for the moment) make this show slightly bearable.
Also a huge disapointment to see Thinkpads being used in the ISS with awful barcode labels obviously covering their labels. Imagine seeing macbooks being used with huge barcode labels covering the Apple logo. RIdiculous.
Had to fast forward throuch the cheese cliche family drama to get to the space parts which, unfortunately, pass by faster at normal speed than the family drama at double speed, which still are a slog to go through.

I hope they actually explain more of the timeline in the next episode... It's hard to care about people and stories without knowing what's happening.

Terrible opening for a series - great scenes on the ISS, boring and borderline psychotic nonsense scenes on the ground. Hopefully they fill in the missing pieces so it does make sense, but I somehow doubt it. Lazy writing is lazy.

Nice opening, intriguing and tense. A ton of questions and mystery (sci-fi stuff for sure they will blend multiverse i suppose or something like that), i hope we get something reasonable. The value of production is very high.
