This episode flirts with the main spike storyline but never gives it the weight of the anime. Also, the whole series doesn’t understand the moody tension of the original. While I love the new Faye actress, her side story steals from the main plot line in ways that kills its weight. The old bebop wouldn’t have tossed in a story to give Faye something to do. They would have left her out entirely and focused on the story it wanted to tell.
And there you have it…gay scene. Surprised it took 6 episodes. And why are lesbians on TV so hot?
Hated it . Quit. Too woke. They took a great series and twisted it into garbage. Apparently only woemen are attracted to this Faye. No wonder Netflix canceled it.

Honestly, I can’t stand the comments from the anime’s fans. Ok, we’ve got it. It isn’t like the original! So what?? They have got the idea from it and made a TV Show that is funny, entertaining, with great cinematography and CGI, good chemistry between the characters and better than the 90% of crap in Netflix.
The haters here are even worse than the “Ahhh! But the book is at whole different level”’s whiners! Personally I feel that it’s a shame that this one has been cancelled while so much junk gets renewed. Hopefully the petition with 130k+ signatures will make Netflix changing idea.
