Despite being quite predictable I liked this episode. Darkness and intensity aside, I really appreciated the humor in this one. The jokes were funny after last week's episode, especially that Luke joke about nurses and spongebaths, followed by Prentiss and JJ's slow turn. For some reason it cracked me up. It was certainly hilarious. Matt Simmons was great. He iw a really good addition to the team. I love the team dynamic this season. I loved how happy García was to see the team reunited at last and that Emily had been binge-watching made me love her even more. I do like that Reid has been reinstated in the team but in a sense, the way it was handed was pretty odd. Being 30 days off after every 100 is not a proper reinstatement. Anyways, his conversation with Luke and JJ on the plane at the end was lovely. overall, I enjoyed the episode a lot despite its few shortcomings. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this new team dynamic in further episodes. Now Criminal Minds is starting to look a lot like it did in earlier seasons and I can't be more exited
Reid will always be sad in this show, I've accepted it at this point, and seeing him take care of the situation the way he did makes me be even more proud of him.
