I’m so happy Travis came back with another old dude as character. I loved that. So quirky.

This episode is a banger in every single way. Great opening, Travis is on fire every time he opens his mouth and the rest of the team play off of that brilliantly. The number of laughs, both for the team and the audience, are thick and fast throughout.

By far my favourite episode to date (though this is the first series I've watched live and I'm only up to episode 99 of Campaign One).

Yeah, this was an uncommonly good episode, even though I think it's slightly shorter than average. The first hour and change was basically just interacting with Chetney, but it was fucking hilarious. I guess Travis was determined to play an old character eventually... but he made a great character here. Although I do wonder how he's going to swing it that he sticks around, because right now it seems like an unlikely prospect. (I know he's not going to leave, because it's CR... But I wonder what the character motivations will be.)
Then it led to a fairly intense cliffhanger ending. Good thing I don't have to wait for a holiday break to continue! Although I am possibly going to catch up pretty soon here... That's a crazy idea to me. I've never been caught up, not once, since starting Crit Role back in 2017. I've always had a pretty large library of episodes to keep plowing forward in whenever I felt like it. (Except the one time around episode 99-100 in C2 when I almost caught up before they came back from break.) But now, that number is dwindling!
