I'll wait for the finale but I'm getting mixed messages between what they're telling me and what they're portraying. Hopefully that's all just a case of "let's shock the audience with these twists" that seem way less coherent than just "they're both hiding details". For instance, there has to be more about Jeanette going back to the house for Kate to make such a bold accusation, right?...

This whole episode was just me saying NO NO NO GET AWAY FROM HER LEAVE HER ALONE NO NO NO.
Wait but also, then this means Jeanette never saw her! Or at least Kate never saw Jeanette seeing her, so I wonder what made her go against her? I guess it was very shocking coming back and seeing she had taken over her life, her boyfriend, her friends, her popularity, but if I was Kate I would just like threaten her like “I know what you did, I have the necklace as evidence, leave my bf/friends alone and get lost or I’ll turn you in” or something like that, not actually accuse her with the police and on national tv.

mixed feelings about the episode, it portrait a different Kate. Not that we knew se was a saint but after all this is she really a victim ? 190 Days ! 190 DAYS ! she was with him, she even left once and came back with her own good will. Then things got things messed up with overreactions from both of them.
Realistically how long was she held on the basement ? a month ? two months ? after 190 days of baking cookies.
