CSI: Crime Scene Investigation 2000

3

Ever-growing and ever-changing.

3

My personal list of Fictional Procedural Crime TV Shows. Most of these I have personally watched at least a few seasons of and/or I am working my way through. Some I have not started yet but I have heard good things about. There are also a few exceptions to the Procedural part (Broadchurch being a great example!) but the vast majority do fall under the definition.

5

Procedural. Spy. True Crime.

4

All time favourite comfort shows that I’ll never tire of watching

15

All Pedro Pascal appearences in chronological order.

Westphall, who is autistic, played an increased role in St. Elsewhere's final episode, "The Last One", one interpretation of which is that the entire St. Elsewhere storyline exists only within Westphall's imagination. As characters from St. Elsewhere have appeared on other television shows and those shows' characters appeared on more shows, and so on, a "Tommy Westphall Universe" hypothesis (postulated by Dwayne McDuffie) argues that a significant amount of fictional episodic television exists within a fictional universe imagined by Tommy Westphall.

As of 3/3/2024

The following is a list of series from 1950-2023. Series within were in the top ten of both Trakt’s Popular & Trakt’s All Time Watched in each of their respective years. The exception to that sole guideline above was the years 1950-1955, where the top ten were cross reference as a group as opposed to individual years.

This list consists of CSI shows and other forensic investigation shows. The following is a breakdown of the CSI TV Series:
TV-14 | 1h | Crime, Drama, Mystery | TV Series (2000–2015)
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation shows are successful forensics crime drama television series. The first three CSI series follow the work of forensic scientists as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious deaths, while the fourth series, CSI: Cyber, emphasizes behavioral psychology and how it can be applied to cyber forensic.
The shows consisted of:
1. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000–2015) a.k.a. CSI and CSI: Las Vegas

4. CSI: Cyber (2015–2016) The series follows an elite team of FBI Special Agents tasked with investigating cyber crimes in North America including Internet-related murders, cyber theft, hacking, sexual offenses, blackmail, and any other crime deemed to be cyber-related within the FBI's jurisdiction.
Based out of Washington, D.C., the team is supervised by Deputy Director Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette) an esteemed Ph.D... Ryan is a behavioral psychologist turned "cyber shrink" who established the FBI Cyber Crime division and heads a "hack-for-good" program, a scheme in which the criminals she catches can work for her in lieu of receiving a prison sentence.
Ted Danson (D.B. Russell) joins Cyber following a four-year stint as Director of the CSI Las Vegas Crime Lab now the Director of Cyber Forensics).
Hayley Kiyoko (Raven Ramirez) and Shad Moss (Brody Nelson) are FBI analysts; former black hat hackers who were caught and later recruited by FBI Cyber as part of Ryan's "hack-for-good" program; and James Van Der Beek (Elijah Mundo, a Senior FBI Field Agent).

Several comic books, video games, and novels based on the series have been made.
The CSI series exists within the same fictional "universe" as fellow CBS police dramas Without a Trace (2002–2009) and Cold Case (2003–2010) and other in-depth forensic investigation dramas.
