So far I'm only 20 minutes in, and my thought based on what they were just saying about the wounds, that it wasn't the axe, plus the lack of a void and footprints considering all the blood, I'm thinking a drone! But I guess I'll see.
Damn! Two minutes later, and they say exactly what I just said.
It was a great episode but I was figuring things out just before each reveal but they revealed it before I would write anything else. The two others were when Folsom was reaching into the bush and mentioned it scratching his arm, so the person would have scratches on their forearms as well as when they were in the guys apartment and he had sunglasses on, I knew that he had pink eye, oh well. I know that did before hand as I'm sure that many other people knew things as well. It was still an enjoyable watch nonetheless.
Finally, a decent episode, even though Max's insistence on Chris getting a handgun felt weird and foreshadowing, even for someone with PTSD. Since this is supposed to be a liberal-leaning show, I expect Max's reliance on firearms for self-defense is going to backfire (pun not intended). After all, statistics show that people who carry firearms are 4 times more likely to get shot and killed than unarmed citizens.
