This is one of those episodes of Daria that's more of a collection of sketches than a full story, but the sketches are funny, so it works! Mr. DiMartino's joy at taking out his various pestersome students was a particular highlight, and Helen and Sandi's mom little rivalry was fun as well. The frenemy situation between Quinn and Sandi was fine, though Tiffany's taking both sides as usual was a kick. And Britanny driving Kevin far away from the fair, with Kevin admitting he's really not sure what the route to school is was very funny as well. Daria and Jane giving the kids at the fair the straight dope about the middle ages had its charms, as did their life coaching on the ferris wheel. Again, a lot of this was insubstantial, but they kept things light, so it still came off well.
