This was pretty bad. I don't mind the dream sequence conceit, even if it's a bit cheesy, but there was really nothing to this episode: barely a plot, few laughs, and little utilization of the dream set up. As a scattershot tribute to various 70s and 80s cop/detective shows, it did what it set out to do, but there wasn't much of a take or twist on any of it sufficient to suit the creative humor of the show. It's a dull and forgettable episodes that seems like it's building to something, and then goes nowhere.
