This one was very entertaining. Effectively giving the fashion club their own episode, exploring both the frenemy relationship between Quinn and Sandi, and the aimlessness of Tiffany and Stacy without them, was a both a recipe for laughs and a chance for insight into their characters. In particular, it was nice to see Sandi's insecurities on display a bit, and the way that whatever her shallowness, she's surprised and legitimately appreciative that Quinn wants to help her despite how Sandi's passive aggressively strong-armed her in the past and how Sandi no longer meets her own fashion club superficial requirements. This show is at its best when it's exploring the humanity beneath even its shallower characters, and this episode is a great example.
Otherwise, I enjoyed the way that Daria and Jane's betting effectively made them the B-Story. The scenes where they manipulated Quinn were amusing but had a ring of truth that made them interesting. And the laughs from Tiffany's misadventures as the center of attention and Jake's quest for a rare burger were each a delight. Stellar all around.
