Sebastian Bergman (Rolf Lassgård) is working for Sweden’s national murder investigation squad where one of his colleagues is his daughter Vanja, unaware that Sebastian Bergman is in fact her father. When the bodies of three girls are found in a mine in Ludvika, Sebastian Bergman is determined to discover what happened, especially as the investigation offers a chance to get his own back on an old enemy.
Sebastian Bergman (Rolf Lassgård) is forced to accompany the team down to Skåne to solve an old case although he would much rather have stayed in Stockholm. Vanja’s father, in fact her stepfather, dies and Bergman sees her loss as a chance to mend their relationship.
