Derrick: Season 20

20x08 Episode 8

The father cares a lot, has an impeccable morality, but overestimates his intelligence and the determination of gangsters. He comes across very naive but the first 15 minutes of the episode is sad and incredible tragic. The stage looks familiar: Bogenhausen mansion, maid, horrible interior design, chauffeur, S-class Benz, a patriarch, a black sheep within the family. That's not how I picture the 90s heroine scene though....

I like that episode. It's tragic, somewhat suspenseful (good OST), Derrick and Harry actually use their weapons for once (good aiming!). The end even tries restoring faith in humanity.

That Jane Fonda dance. Awesome. Ain't she a bit old to be in school?
