1x07 Episode 7

Some people here just need to understand that if a show is not to their liking for several episodes in a row, they should drop it instead of complaining in the comments section of each episode. Devs is a good show, get over it.

Anybody who spends 8 hours watching something they don't enjoy needs a new hobby

The way this show uses sound, music and strikingly beautiful imagery to create a genuine ‘feel’ is very cool. Not to mention the sci-fi is actually well explored and enjoyable

Yup, interesting and boring at the same time. They have a good plot but executed in a boring way most of the time.

This penultimate episode is absolute genius.

This episode proves my biggest point about this series: eight episodes is two too many. I don't think there's a lot I want changed for this episode, though. I thought this was fascinating and thrilling. I love the archetypal storytelling going on with Steward and Lyndon and I think the environmental design finally lands. It's clear that Garland had all this in mind from the start and perhaps on a rewatch I'll have a different opinion, but I really feel like there's three episodes in the middle that could be condensed.

That said, this episode really really worked for me.

Another snooze fest of an episode. I’m just watching...so I can get to the end. There was 5 mins of meaningful storyline. Rest was just people moving & talking slowly. What was up with the sound track at the start & end...strange but I liked it.
