Dexter

Season 2

Looking back, season two is one of the few seasons that I remember really well. I would almost consider it a perfect season if it weren't for the really strange relationships and love interests. First of all, they lacked chemistry. Second of all, it was just weird/awkward for a couple of them. That being said, the tension is high and keeps climbing throughout the season, which made it memorable in the end.

Great, but this Lila character wasn't a good idea, even with her pardoned tits.

Still very enjoyable, still very brutal, still intriguing and I am craving for more!

One of the most exciting and compelling seasons of the series, Season 2 finds Dexter assigned to the biggest serial killer case of his career…his own. Dexter’s dumping ground is discovered, leading the Miami PD to call in an FBI profiler to help capture this new unknown serial killer who they call “The Bay Harbor Butcher;” meanwhile Dexter enters into a 12-step program for addiction where he meets Lila, a mysterious woman who seems to see through him and connect with his “Dark Passenger.” It’s an amazing journey in which the Dexter character is explored exceptionally well. Additionally, the subplots and supporting characters are very tightly written, and do an impressive job at supporting the overall arc of the season. The performances by the cast are also very good, and guest stars Jaime Murray and Keith Carradine bring a lot of charisma to their characters; which adds new and interesting dynamics to the show. Intense and thrilling, Dexter: Season 2 does an excellent job at developing the series into one of the best shows on Showtime.
