DOTA: Dragon's Blood 2021

The show is kinda confusing at the beginning, the pacing is a little weird. A lot of work was put in setting up future seasons, and the finale felt underwhelming.
The world is engaging, most characters are written well enough for the little time they had to set them up, it goes deeper than I expected into their lives, creeds, and motivations. Invoker's arc is the highlight of the season for sure. Overall good storytelling, even with the clunky and forced writing sometimes.
I don't know why or how, but the electronic synth score worked too well for a fantasy setting. The action scenes are pretty cool too, a little exaggerated on the camera shake and kinda choppy, but overall the animation was surprisingly good.
If you're looking for a competent animated show to watch, you can't go wrong with this one. It's pretty flawed, but the result is greater than the sum of its parts...

Also, I would die for Marci!

I've watched the whole damn show. I have never played the game. So believe me when I say, It's one of the best animation series Netflix has ever created! You might find yourself confused at first, but it will get way better as time goes on. The story has no connection with the game, and I understood all of it without any problems whatsoever. Oh, I've almost forgotten, "May the crescent's light shine upon us all".

The story is solid but it's jumping all over the place as if they were trying to match Guy Ritchie's storytelling. I can see what they're trying to do, which is show what everyone's doing or is at in the meantime, but it's disturbing... I'm not a fan of the animations. You can clearly see how small the budget is. Having such a huge valued company, I would've invested a bit more for a bigger animation studio like Production IG; Bones; or Ufotable.

If you watched Castlevania and Blood of Zeus you'll probably enjoy this. The story is a step down for me because I never played the game to understand what's happening.

Good story, mediocre character development in places but the story makes up for that along the way.

a bit of a clusterfuck and most of the time I don't understand what the hell is going on but I still enjoyed it very much since I'm a sucker for fantasy. Gotta say that I was a bit confused since I honestly thought DOTA lore was the same as Warcraft. Haven't played either game for very long but I still like the lore behind them.

So far, I think this is pretty good. I do find it interesting on how the show was obviously done by Japanese anime artist using English Actors. I believe this just might be my first time seeing this in a show. You also should now that there is a LOT of cursing !! If you're a parent, don't recommend anyone younger than 18 see this show, if language is an issue to you.

Dissapointing. visuals are the best part and still above average at best. As soon as there is any action happening it gets difficult to see whats going on. Story is... well im not sure... they did no job setting the world and background, you are just thrown in and trying to pick up pieces.Im guessing you have to be dota lore expert to immediately make sense of this. Brand is pretty much all there is to this show, and its enough to have some fun.
