Coming from someone who doesn't know the novel, this is pretty well done.
The story isn't anything new but does keep one interested because it is done well enough. It is about a young man who gets recruited into a magical school because he is apparently very powerful, in order to be trained as a dragon hunter. There is a below average sidekick, love interest, school factions and a wise old principal running the university.
The main character is unknowingly powerful and wimpy; art is particularly well done, a mix of 2D and 3D graphics that is easy on the eyes, shining particularly during action scenes.
It is hard to find in the west, but imo should have an official translation done because it is good enough that it might appeal to a lot of people.
