Such a beautiful, heartfelt and sincere show. I'm honestly blown away by how much heart there is in everything throughout the season and how they still managed to tell the story without being overtly sentimental. They found a new way to tell stories that have been told for years without leaning on stereotypes and caricatures. I absolutely loved it.
This is a great series. One of the best of their kind. Especially, because the characters are actually talking about their issues, they fuck up, they apologise. It's not like in most teen series where I always think that most of the drama could've been avoided if people talked to each other instead of just assuming.
It's a really heartwarming show. I hope there's going to be a second season.

This was a fun watch. I am really sad this was not renewed. Heatfelt and emotional at moments, light and fun at others. And the 90s setting is fun too.
At the beginning the show struck me as pandering towards some sense of nostalgia but it never felt right to me. There were many "anachronisms" (if you can call it that) that rubbed me the wrong way... Besides some errors it was as if the whole 90ties was smacked into one small period. Maybe my 90ties was different then most (10-19 years old) but it lacked the angst, violence and overall edgyness that was my (?) 90ties... And I'm not talking about how unrealistic highschool movies are.
Overal though the show found it's footing and it started to grow on me for something else. It's not a funny show, it's not overly dramatic except for the final episodes, it isn't necessarily well acted in places, in short: It as heart and that makes it a show worth watching.
Too bad it seems to be cancelled.
Old school theme and soundtracks of this series are on point. This is one of the best series I've watched maybe because of the message it conveys and the plot is amazing. The characters are also good and I feel sad that Netflix stopped releasing this. Please give this series a try. It's a must watch!
a fine, fun, enjoyable show. I liked it better than the famous “freaks and geeks” and I had a real good time watching it. But it still remains as “the show to watch when tired or bored and don’t want to think about anything” kind of show.

Not really surprised that it was cancelled. Not the best but also not the worst child actors. Story was just random and generic at the same time.
It's a shame that Netflix cancelled the show, it was fun, entertaining and “cute". At least it has kind of a closed-end finale if you don't count the last minute of the show.

Why on earth was this cancelled when we get loads of crap that get renewed for millions of seasons. I loved this show but there simply just wasn't enough of it, and it ended on a cliffhanger aswell! Honestly, there was some great representation here and I wish we'd got more time to see Kate really explore her sexuality - I loved what I saw but I needed more.

Now, here is the thing. I'm only seven minutes into the fist episode as I write this, I am probably not going to watch the entirety of this series because I already hate it. The acting sucks, the production sucks, I have no idea what the plot is supposed to be and the soundtrack sucks... Basically, in my opinion Everything sucks about everything sucks. I might not be the target audience since I wasn't an American teenager in the 90's...

I fairly enjoyed this show. It was very different from what I expected. It did however kind of feel like Netflix tries to recycle the idea of another 80’s, Strangers Things inspired group of kids. But it’s fun and I didn’t mind it too much, it’s worth the watch. And with the way this ended it better get a second season!

Unfairly compared to the wonderful 'Freaks and Geeks,' and criticised because of it, this series deserves to stands on its own. Funny, heartfelt, sweet and moving, this portrays real feelings amongst a group of high school kids in a mostly unsentimental way. Looking forward to the next season.
