Strange, yet interesting with good performances.

Interesting premiere. It has definitely caught my interest, that's for sure. But I'm a little disappointed that there wasn't anything supernatural involved, at least not yet. It was just conjecture. This show would end up being a whole lot more enjoyable if something seemingly supernatural, is. But I have a feeling that won't be the case. I hope that I'm wrong.
A middling but interesting premise. I think Catholic assessors make for an excellent fantasy narrative storyline.

The “you can’t read in dreams” part made me do some research to confirm. I like a show that makes me think and drop little facts like that :man::school:
The best thing about the episode was how elegantly it kept us wondering if there was actually something supernatural going on or not, until the very end.
Solid pilot episode, I see a lot of potential, here, so I'm definitely looking forward to binge watch this.
Pretty interesting combination of science, religion and technology. I'm not liking the cast much. This seems like a show that's going to avoid giving answers to the questions it raises. I normally like having the freedom to interpret or decide for myself what the creators intend, but primarily when watching movies. When TV series do it, it's usually to drag the series out (more ad revenue). This show seems like it has no clear blueprint to where it will end up.
I like what counts and how it counts, I will continue to come
The first episode of Evil did not really impress. It has potential, but it felt like a weak start of the series.
The characters have a foundation to build on for sure, but we did not get to explore that as much in the first episode. The story itself is a bit vague and it felt a bit rushed to be honest.
The acting is pretty good so it will be interesting to see what the next episode will hold.
I give this a solid 6 out of 10.

X-files Exorcist combo probably sounded great in the pitch room. Harder to execute.
