This feels like when someone has a great idea but it was great only in their minds, tbh I've seen this plot in so many asian movies so this wasn't new, my first issue, I don't think Kim Dong Hee was ready to be the main on this serie, only 10 episodes but the pace was so slow that feels like 20 and that's not good, at least for me.
If there's a second season probably I will watch it but hoping the characters development is going to be better than this.

idk if I supposed to felt this, but I felt anger everytime the Main Boy and Main Girl is in the same shot. That means almost everytime. I ended up skipping and skipping until the episode ends. I just can't stand watching both of them.
Oh Ji Soo is very frustrating and "slow" with his decisions, it's annoying but that's the point of the show. The actor did a good job to display that point.The series highlights a very important issue in nowadays society and teengaers' communities. It starts kind of light hearted with little tension. However, with each episode the mood grows more complex and definitely darker. The last few minutes of the last episode were hugely thought provoking, especially. I recommend this show, it is not bad at all.

I was really expecting that character would develop into something better than presented in the first episode. Although he is presented as a smart kid, there so many stupidities around that I can't even count. His own old phone wasn't secured, so that woman from banana club could read it without a problem when kidnapped Gyuri. Gyuri is a smart one, she went to school during the night time to hide money, while Jisoo is complete retard, went to check money during the day time, also having money in his backpack is also completely dumb idea. I mean as the one who designed a schema for a sex trafficking security, I've really expected more from him. Once his phone number was exposed to that detective (when she called the Uncle), he didn't even bothered to change the phone. Also when Gyuri stole his phone, he could've delete all the data remotely by find-my-phone service, or similar. It such a basics, I mean Jisoo was mumbling to those gang guys some IT stuff about DNS, so if he knows basic of IT networking, he should know basics of security. Every episode is full of such incompetent decisions, this really kills the vibe, also makes me to hate this character even more with each episode. Either this script been written by incompetent teenager, or these mistakes been done intentionally for simple minded people. Idk. But this is one of the worst korean drama I've watched so far, two characters which are really ok are Lee and Cho, rest of the crowd are useless people who doing stuff they don't understand nothing about, especially that detective.
This reminds me of Elite, but much better because the plot isn't based off inane drama. The action and the violence feels warranted and the cast does an amazing job at portraying it.
Just release two days back .. This is a masterpiece of sorts. It is the high school american teen drama and yet it is very unlike them. This is Sex Education with Voilence and bloodshed
It's a relatively short watch-- ten hour long episodes, which also means it's all too tempting to binge. This is how long a Korean Drama should be .. There not a minute in the show i regret watching. Its paced well for a one-night Binge and red eyes.
The main characters are, for the most part, morally ambiguous. The world of Extracurricular isn't solely black and white-- there are various shades of grey in between, which makes them all the more fascinating to watch. The cast does a great job of delivering their roles
After the second episode I knew, this is something else. The premise seems simple enough, a normal setup for a Korean thriller/action movie but this took it deeper. During the 10 episodes the viewer get to know its main character Oh Jisoo and his contrasting behaviors as well as his partner Bae Gyu Ri. The character work on these two was phenomenal, I loved seeing their facades crack little by little to show what these young humans held within themselves all along.
Although they commit actions that goes by the law of morals you cannot help but route for this unfortunate pair. I personally related to the characters, especially to Bae Gyu Ri and her struggles to keep her image in front of her parents, the school and Jisoo. Although the circumstances that these characters goes through is unrealistic you can draw similarities to their struggles of fitting in, money, grades and love.
I didn't like Seo Min Hee character ; She goes when she is not supposed to go and gets PTSD ; but in the holds grudge against "The Uncle" for not giving her severance pay. She and her boyfriend are the ones with out morals ; doing selfish things. While her feelings for Mr.Lee were spark contrast to "The Uncle"pair
The cop was always overeaching ; she is more of Homicide detective and less of a Student Counclor ; she is really the smiling bitch who doesnt know how to treat kids.
The teach /student councilor is great ; he could assess each of his students well ; if only he could reach out to them before...
I need to Shazam the OST and get it as a ringtone ; the bgm is perfect in each shot.
The drama is graphic and drops in heavy topics when it comes to sex work and the criminal underworld so I'd avoid if those topics are uncomfortable for you. But otherwise I highly recommend! It's a rollercoaster with our teen leads as all of them navigate a dangerous world none of them are fully equipped for and attempt to somehow come out the other end unscathed. It's definitely dark and angsty but like watching a crash you can't tear your eyes from!
P.S. No spoilers but the ending is slightly open-ended if that's also something you avoid.

That was the most pathetic and annoying MC I've ever watched. For someone who's supposed to be a top student, he's so stupid. A lot of the characters actions just didn't make sense. Wanted to drop this after three episodes but decided to keep watching waiting if there's going to be some character development. Wasted my time.
