First episode was better than I expected. Slow burn, with enough information to keep you wanting to watch more. Acting was pretty good as well, and no cheesy dialogues. I am intrigued. Edited to add after watching the entire show: turned out to be complete crap and a waste of a good concept. I understand what they are trying to do, but very poorly executed and the "twist" was super lame.
The show is about as entertaining as watching paint dry. if you're looking for action, comedy, or anything to keep your attention, this episode is definitely not it.
