This character 'Dove' isn't working for me, her responses don't seem logical, in particular, at the end of the episode she was angrier at Madison for her mom dying, than at Padre for sending her to kidnap her from her. These are the stupid convenient plot progression problems all the Walking Dead shows shared, people not reacting how real people would react and instead doing whatever pushes the plot along. Oh, and the Padre reveal was dumb, who cares if it's Character A we just met 30 minutes ago or Character B?
I think it’s really dumb that Dove immediately solely blamed Madison for her mom dying. Her mom wouldn’t have died and she wouldn’t have been KIDNAPPED if it weren’t for padre and you don’t blame them? Only reason Madison did it is because of padre?? Doesn’t make sense honestly
Dove being more mad a Madison instead of Padre was just dumb writing. Padre is obviously the villains for taking all the kids away from their parents and then lying to all the kids. Then having some of the kids get mad at Madison for trying to help? Dumb Writing like I said.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think June and Nick met after the prison??
This whole story is ALL kinds of muddled. What an absolute mess.
Dove not being mad at padre for lying to her about her parents should have been enough for her not going back with them. If Padre didn't exist Madison wouldn't have interfered. Padre's kids are the reason for all the mess. So these kids should have been angry with Padre and not Madison or Morgan.
Okay, this episode was a big step forward compared to the previous two. Character building is a lot better and there and no time is wasted on useless scenes. Seeing a familiar face returning is a plus too. This show took so many good characters away and left us with the ones a lot of us don't really like. Introducing so many new faces in the last season is a big gamble and there's no way all of them will pay off. Sam, Mo and Dove are growing on me.

I lost count of how many times groups of people with guns happened upon other groups of people with guns in this episode. The episode did feature the return of Daniel, which is a plus, except that a major plot point last season was that he was suffering from dementia, and now in this episode, he's just back as the leader of a group of parents, fresh as a daisy? The writers seemingly tried to explain away his miraculous recover from dementia by having him drink yerba mate for "focus." Seriously?? Call every neurologist in the the country! Fear the Walking Dead has come up with a simple cure for Alzheimer's! The big reveal about PADRE was super lame and underwhelming. Otherwise, the writing in this episode is dreadful and often nonsensical, and the acting is uninspired. At one point, Crane is really worried when his father leaves some binoculars behind. I mean, he's way more worried than anyone on planet earth should ever be about binoculars. So he runs off to find his father and give him the binoculars. His sister asks why he has to take the binoculars to his father, and he says, "Because how will he see what's coming without them?" Dreadful.
It's almost as if everyone involved knows this shit sucks, and they're just trying to get to the finish line at this point.
