Season 2 is where they're losing me. They need to double down on Robyn's self-destructiveness and its implications, not back away from it and/or give me background w/the sketchy stereotype of a mother.
I especially would have liked 2Cbacklash from Calvin, the guy from the plane whose amorality finally got to her. It was Bradley Whitford, for chrissakes, playing the most wretched pervert ever, ("There are few actors that could portray Calvin with such effectiveness the way Whitford does here. You’ll almost start to feel bad for an admitted pervert and the kind of guy that should be met with justice, but wow the performance is captivating" -Decider, Lea Palmieri)- it's a shame not2 reuse him. Episode 1x05 was pivotal, with a power they failed to use later.
