1x06 Royally Flushed

An Intel knock-off from before the year 2000 has a BIOS, where the internal date and time can be set manually toe let‘s say Dec. 31st 1999 23:59. One minute later it should reset according to the writers of that show. :rolling_eyes:

So many issues with this episode:

1 = Why not just change the time date/time in the bios?
2 = How would overclocking a PC make the date and time go faster
3 = An intel i3 are they having a laugh that came out in 2010
4 = Why would a barcode on the power supply give them information on the spec of the machine?

Don't writers research or have consultants that help them.... I guess for this show there was no IT consultant or someone that knew how to Google.

Awful writing this episode. The other comments have covered all the laughable tech mistakes. I want to know how the app worked at all with no signal or data? Overall I'm enjoying this show but this episode was just terrible.
