This was one of my favourite shows as a High School student, and I just did a rewatch and it holds up (Except for that 90s anime trans/gay confusion thing)... A lot of melodrama, but it's a one that will keep you glued to your seat.
One of the best fantasy shoujo out there! A must see old school classic with decent plot that is not afraid to even kill a lot of main characters.
