This was absolutely incredible! I was mesmerized from episode 1 to episode 9. Whoever the writers are for this series, WELL DONE! Salute!
The most brilliant show I’ve seen on tv in quite some time!
Two words: overrated + time waste
Not that great, I don't understand the hype... not bad either but I've seen much better.
season 2 ruins what was a really damn good show.
Just finished season 2 and I can say without hesitation that this is stunning television! The story, the characters, but above all the brutal violence!! I repeat, this is stunning!
Wow!!! This is really really good. it is up there with 'The Wire'
Operated and so far fetched,as if shit like this would happen in London,do the makers not know how rare gun violence is on the streets of the UK,there's no gangs running about with as many automatic rifles and grenades as this show, maybe in Columbia and mexico, this is EastEnders trying to be narcos!
Excellent show!! I loved it. However, it is very violent, I don't recommend it for anyone under 18 years of age. I haven't seen a show that violent sing "Sons Of Archery." Actually I thing "Gangs Of London" is more violent in my opinion.
Hard-edged, sometimes self-serious modern-day Peaky Blinders. Gets a bit too far fetched at times (there's no way half of this would be possible in modern-day London) and some of the characters are very thinly drawn, but Gareth Evans delivers some of the best possible action on television that not even the likes of Daredevil match. Could have used shorter episodes, especially in its first, though - I don't think it earns its length, or its ending.
What the tv series “Succession” could and should have been but wasn’t. It did not drag around plots, story or characters. Is it realistic at face value? No, and it does not need be because it’s fiction.
Now, take away the extreme action but keep the underlying story, is it possible? More than you think, specially in London.
This a great show once it gets going, the more I watched, the better it became. Can't wait to see how season 2 plays out, and quite the twist at the end!
Ignore the stupid comment below about gay full frontal, that is a split second of one episode and really shouldn't be an issue for most men to handle.
It’s almost like Gareth Evans wanted to recreate a version of “Game of Thrones” in a modern day setting. From the brutal fight sequences and the feeling that any of the main characters could be knocked off at any time. Definitely worth watching!
Gangs of London is like a chaotic game of chess played by hooligans in the streets of Britain. This TV show takes the concept of organized crime and turns it into a bloody masterpiece. It's like watching a Shakespearean tragedy, but with more guns and explosions. The characters are as complex as a Rubik's Cube, and just as colorful. From the ruthless Finn Wallace to the enigmatic Elliot Finch, each one is like a piece on the board, moving with their own agenda. But be warned, this show is not for the faint of heart. It's like diving headfirst into a pool of sharks, where every episode leaves you gasping for air. So, if you're looking for a thrilling rollercoaster ride that will leave you questioning your own morality, then Gangs of London is the show for you.
The action in Gangs of London is like a fireworks display on Guy Fawkes Night. It's explosive, mesmerizing, and leaves you in awe. From the first episode to the last, the show delivers jaw-dropping fight scenes that will make your adrenaline spike. It's like watching a ballet, but instead of tutus and pointe shoes, you have blood and broken bones. The choreography is impeccable, and the violence is as British as a cup of tea. But don't let the action distract you from the intricate plot. It's like a spider's web, weaving together the different gangs and their power struggles. Each twist and turn is like a punch to the gut, leaving you breathless and wanting more.
Now, let's talk about the performances in Gangs of London. They are like a symphony conducted by a madman. Each actor brings their A-game, delivering performances that are as captivating as a Shakespearean soliloquy. Joe Cole as Sean Wallace is a force to be reckoned with, portraying the conflicted heir to the throne with intensity and vulnerability. But it's Sope Dirisu as Elliot Finch who steals the show. His performance is like a magic trick, keeping you guessing and questioning his motives until the very end. And let's not forget about Michelle Fairley as Marian Wallace, the matriarch of the family. Her performance is like a thunderstorm, commanding attention and leaving you in awe of her power.
In conclusion, Gangs of London is a wild ride that will leave you on the edge of your seat. It's like a rollercoaster that takes you through the dark underbelly of the city, where danger lurks around every corner. The show is a masterclass in storytelling, with a plot that is as intricate as a spider's web. The action is explosive and the performances are top-notch. But be warned, this show is not for the faint of heart. It's like diving into a pool of sharks, where every episode leaves you gasping for air. So, if you're ready to embark on a thrilling and bloody journey, then buckle up and join the gangs of London. Just don't forget to bring a helmet and a bulletproof vest.
ok this is fire...its dark, bloody and brutal..ost in this its like from dark knight so tight..fuuck and that 5episode is pure action - so far best action sequence in tv show ever
The first season was good-ish it had the feel of the SWEENY movie but the second season was and in the words of a fellow reviewer ridiculousness . Let's hope it gets cancelled.
It's ridiculously good, too good to be British if that makes sense. The action scene's are better than some shoot in Hollywood, the story has more characters and twists than GTA. The opening of every episode is crazy, it's not The Wire or Breaking Bad, more like a serious Hot Fuzz.
This is brilliant! it's like peaky blinders but based in modern day London.
Starts off incredible and quickly descends in to ridiculousness. It's like living Prison Break all over again.
s02 is superior and better than s01
Once again a Masterpiece,
They just like cliffhangers ending.
Just as you think you know the end, boom changed
Amazing .. A must watch
Season 2 has started with a superb first episode, loads of ultra violence. If it continues like this it will surpass the first season by a long way.
Best!Best!!Best!!!One of the best!Highly recommend
This show has 10 episodes in season 1. Can the 10th be added here?
I am hoping that a second season is coming!!!
I am crossing my fingers that there is a second season. This sh*t is GOOD!!!! 100%
I heard season 2 should be out! How come it's not listed?
The first season was very good, it was built on good pillars (excellent production, immersive plot), but it arrived in the last two episodes and lost its momentum: a meaningless and unpleasant ending. It's a shame, but still good entertainment. I hope they can overcome it in the second season.
Damnnnn never heard about this serie just watched everything in 1 day 10/10 absolutely mind blowing
One of the best action shows on tv and writing is top notch. I wouldn't expect anything less from the guy who brought us "the raid" and "raid 2" If u haven't seen those 2 action movies , Your in for a hell of a ride! The action cinematography is really brilliant and I cant get enough of this show!

Good show with top-notch action choreography! Great exposition and solid character development, yet it concludes with a kinda deus-ex-machina and confusing "plot convenience" which was a little disappointing. Nonetheless highly recommend this show.
Shazam. This show literally has no regards for human life. Like my man Odysseus said at the end of the movie Troy "Men rise and fall like the winter wheat..."
No it will not be the best TV show you've ever seen but it's good enough.
Hoooly moly.. things escalate quite heavily in this one. Overall the storyline is okaish but the effects on the brutality are nearly unseen for this kind of series.
Really enjoying this show. Every episode has felt like a film so far. The standout episodes are the first and fifth episode
Ugh! I managed to watch the first episode and to be honest I would have preferred to have cut my throat and simultaneously eaten my own eyeballs than watch this willy-waving p*ssing contest rubbish.
