I've finally gotten around to watching the finale! I was going to watch it yesterday, but that didn't work out. Anyway, this was a good season finale. I think it would've been a perfect series finale too. I'm not familiar with Anne Lister's life and her diary entries except for her death. But with that being said, I get that the writers probably want to account for everything, more or less, and then end the show with her death or something like that. I just hope it isn't a disappointing ending that makes people wish that the ending of this season was the end of the show instead.

The ending is PERFECT
I can’t really enjoy the romance between Ann and Anne the way I like, it gives me too much anxiety. Ann is so fragile, I’m on edge because of her constant back-and-forth. And Anne has feelings too, she doesn’t deserve that.
now im worried for thomas, god i hope its not gonna be ugly, or at least not that ugly

What a wonderful finale. The absolute happiness and love in their eyes through the whole last section was so beautiful. The writing and portrayal of this relationship has been fantastic the whole way through. Bravo to all involved.
That final moment was the icing on the cake, showing their relationship as so healthy and realistic. With teasing and Miss Walker holding her own. So much love for all this.
