Oh, dear...
It started off as I expected/hoped but then it turned into quite a mindfuck :o I get the concepts but I don't really understand the story / what happened yet. I definitely need to rewatch this episode. And I guess I should finally listen to a 1984 audiobook, read up on this show, and listen to a Ghost in the Shell audiobook.
Anyway, I hope there will be a third season but I have no idea yet.
PS: Is it just me or did that red car look a bit like an electric Toyota 86? :D

Ok. Umm. Reboot all the character deaths in the previous episode. Check. Now the plan all along was to create “double think”. Ok. Why? I mean why was it necessary to create a potential nuclear crisis. And it was because Section 8 comms the AI was able to complete sone hack so now 99% in the world’s population is living in two realities? The real one and their own fantasy. Except the Major? I think I get but I really don’t. Still, the season built some great tension.
