this episode is one of my favorites, but this is the only episode that is my favorite due to a few short responses, with the best been
"it's perfectly normal to have cold feet today"
"yea, it's snowing"
Such a sweet episode. The gang all coming together to help :hearts:
it is silly and amusing at the same time.. i like it
It’s rare that a show keeps improving as steadily as this one has. I keep thinking it has peaked and then it outdoes itself again. All of the cast were in great form this episode, Robin had me laughing right from the start and Kitty was both hilarious and sweet. The primary sub plot played out nicely and they made the penny drop by simple framing and a character looking in a different direction. Great, subtle film making that makes the show so much more rewarding to watch. The editing overall was great with subtle little things like the Captains knees cracking when he crouches being inserted perfectly to keep the rhythm flowing.
Nice that the original series acknowledges more of the social differences like race and sexuality without harping on them and leaning into that humour. Whilst you might expect the ghosts to be constantly annoyed by everything down to Mike and Alison’s mixed race relationship (many of the couples are mixed in this and the remake), there are better jokes to make so downplaying it most of the time works well. The US series all but ignores these social differences even though the ghosts seem to be incapable of any real character development.
Will series 3 be able to top this episode again? Let the binge watching continue!
This was indeed perfect! I loved that everyone felt included!!
And omg Kitty, she’s so sweet, she deserves a day as a human again :( and also did she throw up??? That’s new!!
And oh Pat :( his story will always be so sad
