Early stuff, I know, but so far this show is a lot of fun! The animation looks great in particular--it really leans into the CGI animation instead of trying to make it look like 2D anime, and it looks about a million times better than usual CGI animated TV as a result. The movement is very bouncy and exaggerated, and so are the facial expressions.
So far the characters are pretty sweet and the writing's really good. All feels very low-key and uplifting in a way I really enjoy. I'm not super-jazzed about the music, but I'm not usually a fan of the genre, so whatever. Everything else is killer, though! Hopefully this gets picked up for an official English release soon.

Frankly, I'm enjoying watching it, even if the main character gets on my nerves. The CGI isn't spectacular, but it's not bad at times either. I'm no music anime expert, but it made me want to see other anime in the same genre. I just hope that the main character will grow up a bit and that we don't fall into a loop, with the same disputes over and over again.
