I like this episode. I like old couples. the kiss on the hand just brought me to tears.
I still don't get Amelia's line of thought. Their drama has been so dragged out, I don't even remember why they are fighting.

I loved Amelia's take that she has been a mother (it doesn't matter that the baby didn't make it) and don't want to go through that again. Really understandable. But not fair to Owen who didn't even know about her traumatic experience before the wedding. He's aggressive, I agree, and for some reason he chooses the women who'll never make him happy (he just don't need a wife who's also a doctor, duh! A good woman who'd like many kids to raise and expect him from work, period).
seems like i’m in the minority here but i actually really respected amelia in this episode and really sympathised with her, especially when she called out owen saying it’s “normal” to want a baby and questioned him about why he actually wants one. i can’t stand owen, never have, and a podcast recently pointed out to me the way he talks to women by standing hunched over them and jabbing a finger in their face and yelling and now i can’t not notice it. this relationship has been doomed to fail from the start so i don’t really care about it anymore. but i also think caterina scorsone is beautiful and a really great actress! on the other hand maggie really pissed me off, don’t see why we had to have TWO episodes of her being really immature and rude about her mother
I know this is a drama show, but they are literally creating drama out of nowhere. Amelia ist sooo getting on my nerves. That storyline with those elderly people was heartbreaking. Also Maggie? Annoying.

It's not only the stupid writting... or the actors who can't act :person_facepalming:. Now they don't even know how to edit an episode togheter. Scene: Amy and Owen giving the bad news to the elder couple. Next scene: Meredith, Amy and Maggie talking in a break room. The scene after that: Amy and Owen still having the same conversation with the old couple. What the fooork!? Did she steal Hermione Granger's time turner or what?
Great music, though... it's the only thing still worth it in Grey's.

Great episode! The old couple was so adorable. And showing Stephanie caring and thinking about life was good to see.
Poor Maggie and her mom... I'm glad that in the end she decided to tell Meredith to be her support.
Amelia is PATHETIC... her relationship with Owen is so bad that I really hope the writers give them both some self respect and get them divorced already.
Love that Richard is still hurt over Arizona's "betrayal" but he is being an adult about it and just asking for some time and actually acting like an adult.
