I think the whole point of this episode was to break out Ben going to be a firefighter, so now we can all get excited for Station 19 (yes, I'm 5 years late, but I have tons of watching material, so yay to me).

The whole boat scene with the guys was just SO odd. Very forced. The writers are literally like "SEE Jackson and Maggie wouldn't be weird" despite the fact that they have zero chemistry.
