So McWidow is the “new” Karev for good? Wow. Shonda never ceases to disappoint me. Wait, that’s not news. Now that Karev is gone for good (apparently) and that they’re completely destroying DeLuca’s, the only watchable character is Meredith herself. Maybe they should have stopped this show, like, nine or ten years ago.
I was always on Amelia's side when it came to her childbearing problem, but she's in the wrong here. She went and told Link she's pregnant with HIS baby, and just now she considered that the break-up with Owen and the hook-up with Link were really close. She should've thought about it BEFORE claiming it was Links' baby, who btw didn't even questioned it because he believes her. And if he did, he'd been the asshole.
So basically she had to ask herself first whose baby it might be and be open about it with Link, he might've been much more ok with this ambiguity if it was known from the start.
As a doctor - it's weird of her claiming love wins over biology.
We lost too many great characters. Andrew's spiral is interesting, but Hayes isn't good enough to soothe me the loss of Alex, it's soooo unfair :disappointed:
Also, that Jackson show-up and apology was so random ans stupid, just as Webber's wallowing.
Now I'm waiting for Bailey to adopt Joey, that might be interesting to see. Overall, this thing is so over the place, but I guess that's why we love it :person_shrugging:♀
There's no development in the characters. They just went from A to Z in a blink of an eye.
Enjoying the Deluca scenes (I guess some like @abtr were really turned off by his overbearing manic behavior here and being too "disrespectful of Mer" but as a character I still find him engrossing). But I do feel really bummed about Karevs departure. Shonda how could you.
This season keeps disappointing me. There’s practically nothing to look forward to. Merluca are pretty much done, Amelink isn’t happening anymore and we won’t ever get Jolex scenes again. Moreover, Schmitt has been working his ass off to prove himself worth to everyone - especially Nico - and stills gets lied to.
And as if this wasn’t enough, we are supposed to care about this McWidow character.
On the other hand, I really enjoyed seeing Dr. Lauren Riley and her working dynamic with DeLuca (which by the way, deserves better).
This has been a terrible run of episodes and the Blizzard looks like it is not going to get better. STOP trying to make Station 19 happen.
Umm ok. Making McWidow speak Italian is a little too much though. And I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm on Deluca's side here. His obsession is what saved her. Meredith had no business interfering. And Amelia needs to give Link a little break. She's being unfair.
@ SHONDA LET MY GAYS BE HAPPY

1) Schmitt totally just stole all the credit from McWidow (you most certainly wasn't the one who got Joey to do his PT). Schmitt was like "you won't regain mobility if you don't do your PT" and Joey was like "I'm worried sick about my little siblings dude, who even cares about my arm?" and Schmitt was like "but your mobility!". Boy, STFU. See, this is why I don't like him. :skull_crossbones:
2) McWidow keeps mentioning his kids to Mer, and honestly I stan them bonding over having kids. I'm more than ready for a little flirting to start between them! Also, we're 4 for 4 with the "kids mention" (I'm keeping tabs)
3) Please tell me we've finally, finally gotten rid of DeLuca. He totally just completely disrespected his superior in front of everyone and their mother and it's not ok. Meredith never did anything even remotely like that to Derek when there was a power imbalance between them. You don't yell at your superior in your place of work. Period. He really deserves to be suspended or something. A punishment of some kind. Also, Mer was right. Was the patient gonna die in the next 60 seconds? No. He could have easily explained what he'd found and the course of action he'd decided to take. It probably wouldn't even have taken the full 60 seconds. I'm still so pissed off about it! The gall! The disrespect! How very much dare he! :triumph:
4) I just can't with Amelia right now. I love her. I understand where she's coming from, and ideally, yes, love should matter more than biology. But Maggie also presented a strong case. Amelia has always been pretty flighty when it comes to relationships, so Link has a right to feel scared and want to know if he's the baby's father. At this point I'm pretty sure Owen and Teddy are a sure thing, so, really, Link shouldn't be concerned. But emotions are not a rational thing. And even less when piling pregnancy hormones on top of it all, which is why I'm also siding with Amelia. I can see the issue from both of their perspectives, and the fact that it's still not getting resolved is stressing me out! I'm worried about how the writers are gonna fix this freaking mess. If Amelia and Link don't find a way to compromise (and most likely Link ends up giving in), I feel like their relationship is gonna suffer. They've both taken a stance, and it wouldn't be good if either of them "wins". It's really important that they solve this by finding some sort of middle ground. I just want them to be sickeningly adorable together again! Please! No more drama! :sob:
5) Someone please get Nico some acting classes. My god, that guy can't emote to save his life. His facial expression never changes.
6) Did I mention how over DeLuca I am and how badly I want him gone? Yes? Well, it needed to be said again.
7) I don't think it's that weird that McWidow speaks Italian. I'm sure plenty of Europeans speak more than one language. It was really not necessary, but I don't really mind (because he's humble, dedicated, caring, respectful and why shouldn't he be even more awesome by also being bilingual?) :flag_it: :flag_ie:
8) So, apparently, Alex won't be coming back cause Justin just up and quit the show out of the blue. Honestly, what an a-hole. I don't get how that could have happened. Don't they have contracts? I wonder what will happen to Jo now. I hope they don't get rid of her character.
