This show, along with its Sister show, Station 19, has become so anti white, anti straight white men and so incredibly preachy. Storylines blur into one another, just as the main characters, swap partners, some shagging anything that has a pulse. Staler than a loaf of bread, covered in green mould and now on life support. Time to pull the plug.
Seriously, what is the point of dangling a lab across country to Meredith? Everyone knows she won't be leaving Grey Sloan. Pointless and slightly insulting to viewers...
So I knew ahead of time that there would be a non-binary character on the show this season. Given Grey's usual lack of tact and heavy handed style I was prepared to have pronouns be painstakingly explained to an oblivious character. Pleasantly surprised that the 3 other people in the scene just used they/them normally.
It may not be an area I fully understand but I'm glad Grey's treated it this way. Also ngl Kai is kinda swoonworthy.

I'd like to be done with both shows because the drama has truly reached soap opera incredulity, but my idiot brain has problems quitting things once it's heavily invested. It's like having annoying family/friends you still keep in touch with. They really piss you off and you kick yourself every time, but you can't help caring.
