There was once a boy called Thomas Rachit who was very very naughty and kept asking for sweets. One day he walking near the newsagents when he heard a squeak above his head. It was a sweet sign that said bang 3 times on door and wait. An old man came out and invited Thomas in, Thomas thought the shop looked nothing like a sweet shop, then the man told Thomas to follow him through a door so Thomas did. When Thomas did this the man scooped him up with his net and put him in a pit of paper mache. Thomas was turned into a shop manikin for the rest of his life
