Every now and then I can stand a Mallory episode, and then she's effective as a character. But if I had to put up regularly with her perkiness and nosiness... well. I thought the vigil for Copper was a bit much - it's not like Spartan or Jack's old horse who've been around for the entire run (or were in case of Jack's old horse). And did they tone up the humanization of the horses this season? Or is it because we only see Amy interact with Lindy or horses that it appears that way?
Finn's going to return at some point, but honestly, I think the whole spark thing that Jessica saw when she took that picture, that everyone's supposed to see... I feel it's forced, there's not much chemistry there. But I'm not sure I care too much. I like seeing Lou and Peter back together again (not just phoning it in).
I've always loved the Mallory episodes.
