[tv+] It tries unsuccessfully to combine a silly sense of humor and some thriller elements, a combination that works best in "The Righteous Gemstones" (HBO Max, 2019-), for example. There isn't much Patricia Arquette can do with a character as narratively unstable as hers, but she doesn't convey a real connection to the protagonist either. In the end, it's a weird and generally boring mix of scam, detectives, family instability and art forgery, but it never manages to be so extraordinarily wacky as to be at least funny.

Personally, I couldn't get into this series whatsoever. It's below average in a sea of choices. It's painfully predictable and not funny, and so boring and forced. I feel like this series pairs well with Poker Face on Peacock, another show that I didn't like.
Patricia Arquette was not meant to be an actor. This show is corny, very corny. This definitely a MUST NOT WATCH!

Depressing and barely funny show about drug addicted hag trying to become a P.I. Unfortunately, there is no mystery or cases being solved and the majority of the scenes revolve around drug use. Watched two fist episodes and gave up on the show.
