This is a strained relationship if I've ever seen one. Sara is a nightmare. I can understand why she's the one who had to propose as she would have been waiting a long time for a proposal from him (i.e. 12th of Never). I think when Joshua said you get to know someone's personality in times of stress, that wasn't meant to be a compliment. Much prefer episodes with likeable people on it because you care more about what happens to them. Joshua was likeable enough but Sara was very unpleasant and abrasive and I often found myself wanting to reach for the remote to change the channel.
