Outstanding season! Can't wait for new episodes.

And this power show ends with the US president saying, "That's right, we don't submit to terror. We make the terror!!", Damn.
The ending is pretty powerful. Overall I wouldn't want to keep watching.
three seasons passed for us to face Frank at the threshold of his vulnerability, at the risk of losing his life completely, either in the real sense, due to Lucas Goodwin's despair and insanity, and in the figurative sense, watching Claire annihilating some of his victories without any fear of reprisals, showing him to be a person as strong as (or even more than) him. Also, selfishness doesn't mean being narcissistic, and this is where Conway joins the plot and disputes with Frank the specters of coldness and sagacity through a political game, which ends up highlighting the few existing nuances between both that can guide each of them to the weak or blind spot along this odyssey for power. However, beyond pragmatism and politics, as already mentioned, this season is the season of vulnerability, precisely recognizing the blind spot or the human and fragile facet of each character, recognizing sadness and fear, love and hate, as well as how to understand the importance of reconciliation (especially when you need the person next to you so much)
I feel like each season of this show starts to disappoint me a little more. I loved the first season. Loved it. Before that I had watched the British version that it is based on. Loved it. Then the second season came around and was pretty good as well. Then the third season was good. Then this season was good at times, and frustrating at others.
Look at for spoilers from here on out. So obviously my problem with the show isn't acting or production value at all. This show looks and feels great. Kevin Spacey alway nails whatever role he's playing. Music and tone is always appropriate.
My problems come from the plot in general. Frankly, Frank is already president. Things were certainly more fun when he was still working his way up instead of fighting off the competition. But ok, I could handle that... IF THEY ACTUALLY HAD A DAMN CONCLUSION.
I cannot believe they didn't get to the election in this season. We were building up to this the whole time, just so I could find out I'll wait a year. I won't forgive that at all. Basic TV storytelling is that you have an arc that starts and begins in that season. Some things move on to the next, sure, but not the main conflict.
Oh, also I forgot to mention how boring I think his wife is, and how insane the idea of a president's wife being a president's VP is. They would never get elected if someone tried that. Like her or not, Hillary did go out and actually build a political career first before running for the White House. Had she tried to be Bill's VP, we'd surely have had 4 other years of Bush #1.
I'm sounding very negative, I know. The rest of the plot I enjoyed, especially the interactions with his Conway competition and with his Secretary of State. I'm just stuck in negativity since I just watched the finale that pissed me off.
Definitely the best season, ugh so fucking good the final shot. Robin n Kevin just killed it
A bit boring at the beginning, but the further the better. Totally worth seeing, especially after what happens in episode 4.
