7.5/10. Solidly enjoyable episode. Robin's story was kind of silly, but there was something to it. Similarly, Barney's waiting for a fist bump was the kind of goofy comic relief stuff you'd expect him to pull.

The meat of it was solid as well. The NJ vs. NY debate felt true to New Yorker's feelings about the neighbors across the river, and as someone from out of town who'd moved there, I felt Marshall's sentiments as a transplant. That was one of the nice things about the argument -- there were several different types of opinions represented. Lily the lifelong New Yorker, Marshall the reluctant transplant, Ted the zealous convert, and Stella the dye-in-the-wool Jersey girl. The cinch of the episode being Ted bonding with Stella's daughter is a nice note to go out on.

If this whole New York vs. New Jersey debate is real, thank God I don't live anywhere near either one. It's so stupid.
