This documentary handles the subject matter with a levity that quite frankly worries me as it may offend and/or be misconstrued. Although, I think it adds to how it really captured the rise of these tyrants to power in the first place- what endeared them to the people: it's the promise of a grand vision, and being one of them and for them. Like it's really terrifying how people can actually fall for their "charm" despite or rather because of their rather hateful and oppressive tirades or ideologies, and how I feel like I am actually witnessing this in my own country in real albeit to a less extreme extent.
