The show continues to be reasonably good despite some serious pacing issues that don't seem to be going away anytime soon. Most center around Jay and the excessive and ongoing efforts to show the seedy and messy sides of the character. It wasn't as pronounced here as in the past, but there was still too much of it. We get it, writers. The guy is a hot mess. Let's start to focus on the redemption side of his arc already. And focus on the mystery, too, of course.
