Bad writing and bad acting with a bad story. More nonsense from Netflix
What the hell Netflix?!? Is this all the best you can produce now? Yet another boring mashup between a dusty spy plot and a military super soldier experiment? Bah!
Ugh, watched the entire first episode and its bad writng and sub-par acting then that ending.... I'm done. 2/10
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this show and I’ve gotta say…..pretty damn good. There were a few plot holes but if there’s a season two, I hope they close em up. Left on a cliffhanger of course lol. Definitely worth a watch!! Margarita is exquisite. So many good action scenes
:heart:x7
This is a pretty decent spy thriller... with a twist. The twist was not really elaborated on at all and is slightly confusing - but maybe it will be explained in season 2?
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
Somewhat decent show.
The plans of the antagonist are somewhat unrealistic (way too complicated to actually work in real life), but not to the extent that it isn't fun to watch.
Still not sure what to make of the daughter, she seems to be a sociopath at the beginning - writers seem to switch gears at about the middle
Any good? I was thinking of watching it until I saw 'shape-shifting' in the description, and I dislike Marvel Super Hero type of shows.
Update: After watching 8 episodes, it was worthwhile. It's a low budget flick, but the acting IMHO is better than average. SciFi not really an espionage flick in the traditional sense.
In From the Cold started out strong and intriguing, but unfortunately took a turn for the worse once the sci-fi aspect was introduced. It wasn't at all what I was expecting, and I couldn't help but feel disappointed as the plot veered away from its original spy thriller concept shown in the trailer. The series had its moments, however it ultimately fell short of its potential when it became unrealistic. If you're a fan of spy thrillers, you may want to approach with caution. While it may have its merits, the sci-fi elements may leave you feeling let down.
Bad, just bad... poor storyline, awful writing, mediocre acting, and also the unrealistic fast travels typical of most spy series. In 1x02 the lead character travel to Zaragoza, located about 500 Km. away from Madrid (and at the very least 4 hours of travel), as it was next to the capitol city
The lead character looks like Black Widow. Interesting plot though.
The don't get much worse than this. Couldn't even make it through ep1.
Season 1 was good. Not sure why anyone would say it was confusing or badly written or poorly acted. It is fast paced, leaves you guessing, and delivers overall. I'm thinking the twist at the end of the last episode of the first season was an absolute surprise to most and of course a huge disappointment. It literally almost ruined the whole thing for me, enough I'm not sure I'll watch a second season. That's definitely where they screwed it up for me and I suspect everyone else.
But hey up until that, definitely an 8.
Not great. Acting, plot holes, writing....it was a disaster. I could rant, but I'm going to leave it there and those that choose to watch it can judge for themselves. Wasn't for me.

Good storyline but a good story and good acting can't make up for terrible writing.
The characters are plastic and unbelievable. The story unfolds in a Helter skelter fashion. The action scenes are completely unbelievable.
