yikes! Insecure always brings these conflicting emotions outta me. Like I gotta be real, even though a majority of this episode frames Lawrence as being in the wrong, I do not blame him. His relationship with Condola should not factor in to the relationship he has with his son. She gave him an ultimatum to stay with her and raise their child as 100% co-parents or leave, but the money he makes from his job while away from his son is important because it’ll give these 2 young parents stability. If there was more of an emphasis on this not being permanent, I would say she’s entirely in the wrong but him being away adds a certain complexity that feels like classic Insecure.
